A Note from the producers about Business 2 Business

(B2B)  Networking:

The Taste Entertainment Showcase evolved out of a desire to support the resurgence of the Taste Entertainment Center. For over thirty years “The Taste” has been a fixture in the Englewood community. When Kennedy-King City College relocated to 63rd and Halsted, “The Taste” had long established deep roots on the south side. As major chains plan to move stores into the area, “The Taste”, has never moved out of the area. The entertainment spot is a Chicago institute owned by African Americans catering primary to African Americans. As small business owners, the Simmons family, have faced the same challenges as many others in the service industry, doing all within their power to keep the doors open and they’ve succeeded.

The Taste Entertainment Showcase, is a monthly event to not only support the Taste owner’s effort, but to provide other small businesses a unique cost effective entry into the local commercial television market. In addition, the Showcase offers entertainers a professional venue to perform a sample of the talent and gain additional exposure through local commercial cable television. This is a beneficial proposition for all involved.
