Elected Officials Chart a Plan Forward for Mercy Hospital
Chicago – Alderman Sophia King, Representative Lamont Robinson, Senator Mattie Hunter, Alderman Pat Dowell, Alderman Leslie Hairston, Representative Theresa Mah, Commissioner Dennis Deer and Representative Sonya Harper along with community leaders and members of the affected communities will hold a press conference on Thursday March 11, 2021 at 9:00 a.m. via zoom. They will detail their recommendations for the future of Mercy Hospital and the healthcare needs of south side residents who already face unprecedented health disparities and barriers to accessing quality healthcare.
