Good Afternoon,

We hope all is well with you and your family.  Congressman Danny K. Davis is hosting his annual Back to School Caravan.  Traditionally, the event included a picnic and parade, however, due to Covid-19, we are hosting a Back to School caravan.  All vehicles are invited to join the Back to School Caravan.

Providing quality education is challenging during these times for students, parents, and educators.  For the past three years, Congressman Davis hosted the “Technology in the Park.”

With a profound understanding that children, youth, and young adults do not have access to computers and the internet, this event has provided coding, robotics, and other training to young people in Chicago’s neighborhoods at the annual Back to School event.

This year, we are also asking individuals who can afford to donate computers to residents to let us know below.

The Back to School Caravan is scheduled for August 15, lining up at 8:30 a.m., and kicking off at 10:00 a.m. at Central and Bloomingdale.
