Words are powerful. They shape how we think, how we respond, and even how we endure trials. The tongue can build faith or strengthen fear. Many people constantly say,
“This is hard,” but what if the issue is not that it is hard, what if it is unfamiliar?
Scripture does not teach us to live defeated by challenges. It teaches endurance, faith, patience, wisdom, and trust in Yah.
Obstacles are not proof that we are abandoned; they are often proof that we are being trained.
Life is spiritual warfare. A fighter does not enter the ring unprepared. They study their opponent, train consistently, learn discipline, and understand both strengths and weaknesses. Victory comes not only from fighting, but from preparation.
The same applies spiritually.
The enemy studies weakness, fear, discouragement, and doubt. But the believer is not defenseless. Yah gives wisdom, discernment, strength, and the Ruach HaKodesh to guide us through every battle. When we fail to recognize the nature of the fight, life can feel unbearable. But when we understand the opponent and rely on the Father, we learn how to endure and overcome.
The battle is unfair when fought in the flesh, but victory comes when fought in the spirit.
The Word teaches that Yah will not place more on us than we are able to bear, and She provides a way of escape. Trials are not meant to destroy us but to reveal endurance, obedience, and trust.
So why do we speak defeat over situations when the Father has already spoken strength?
Why do we repeat the language of fear instead of the language of faith?
If the enemy desires for us to feel overwhelmed, hopeless, and defeated, then constantly declaring “it’s too hard” becomes agreement with discouragement. But the Father calls us to gratitude, perseverance, and faith even in difficulty.
We are told to count it all joy when facing divers temptations because trials produce growth. Every obstacle becomes a test of trust.
We often master things connected to the flesh careers, entertainment, routines, and worldly systems yet struggle to discipline our spiritual speech. But the flesh wars against the spirit. What we repeatedly speak reveals what we are feeding.
Instead of:
“This is too hard.” Try:
“I am being trained.”
“Yah will strengthen me.”
“I can endure this test.”
“There is purpose in this season.”
“I will not fear what is temporary.”
Ponder On This
“Not my will, but Thy will be done.”
If the Father allowed the enemy to test you, how would you respond?
Would you fight with faith or fear?
