Chicago, IL. February 22, 2021.  House Music Artist and Chicagoan Robert Owens lyrics, songs and collaborations are the soundtrack to House Music and Dance Music worldwide. Robert’s career has flourished not in Chicago, but exponentially in Europe where he currently lives. He talks about his collaborations with supergroup Fingers Inc., contributions to House Music classics including “Donnie,” and “Bring Down the Walls,” his roommate House Music legend Frankie Knuckles and his time at Chicago clubs including CODs and The Warehouse.

The VintageHouseShow.com is a WNUR.org | 89.3FM radio show, now podcast and web show that honors Robert Owens and other Chicago House and Dance Music pioneers. Vintage House Show Host Kevin “Mega” McFall suggests “Robert Owens is a soulful and insightful musical genius, whose voice and lyrics continue to move the world. The tragedy is that Robert Owens found consistent financial and musical success in London and Berlin, but not on Chicago’s West, South and North Sides.” Robert’s conversation touches on Black History, Music Technology and a hint to his new project to be revealed on the show!
