Dr. Don Jackson President & Co-Founder of CPP

For those of you who are interested in ending the homicides in the Greater Englewood Community, the Community Peace Program (CPP) is an organization interested in highlighting our youth in an effort to eliminate (or significantly curtail) the homicides in Chicago’s Greater Englewood Community.  At our next steering committee meeting, we will continue to focus on primarily establishing functioning committees geared toward developing The Englewood “Battle of the Stars” Talent Show. The funds derived from the fundraiser will be used to create a reward-fund for the purpose of initiating rewards of $49,000 against individuals who murder anyone within the Greater Englewood Community.

CPP has created a website which is located at communitypeaceprogram.org.   Please feel free to visit our site; feel free to utilize our “Blog” to express why you feel our initiatives will (1) fail or (2) be successful.  Because of the Coronavirus Pandemic, our next scheduled steering committee meeting will be held virtually (via Zoom technology), on Dec. 5, 2020 (a Saturday) from 11 a.m. – 12:30 a.m. If you wish to attend that meeting, arrangements can be made by sending an email to communitypeaceprogram@gmail.com.

The primary focus of the steering committee meetings will be to concern ourselves with:

  • Where are the specific locations the talent show events will be held and
  • What specific mediums of communications will be utilized to present the Englewood “Battle of the Stars” Talent Show?

We are also very interested in volunteers who have advance computer skills.
