Dr. Marianne Robin Russo, an accomplished educator and someone you should know.  I met this young lady about a month ago through a dear and committed professor of mine.

Dr. Russo has earned a few degrees thus far; Ed.D (Education doctorate), Ed.S (Education specialist), M.Ed (Master of Education), M.S. (Master of Science), and B.S (Bachelors of Science).

She works as a university facility member, teaches both graduate and undergraduate students as well as other educators.

Dr. Russo has collaborated on 9 publications, 15 peer reviewed journals, and gave presentations to 13 educational bodies, both nationally and internationally.  Currently she serves on 5 dissertation committees, has served as a thesis capstone adviser, a blind peer reviewer, 2 editorial boards, and written 2 grants throughout her professional career.  She began building her educational portfolio in 1983 and sees herself as a “lifelong pupil of methodological and statistical applications.

She loves history, research, writing, visual arts, playing the piano, and assisting students of all levels reach their maximum potential.”

Dr. Russo is helping me restructure my project so it will clearly explain, analyze and document the explanatory mixed method research project I have been working on over the past 5 years.

I know it will, beyond doubt, create a social change in the way seniors and disabled adults share information. Communications has changed, and working from the comfort of their home or center, in an online environment, will truly enhance the senior and disabled adults’ ability to communicate with anyone anywhere in the world.

Every student should have a mentor who is willing to take the time, energy, and initiative to help them reach their educational goals.  Most students, young and old, have aspirations of accomplishing something specific in their life but may lack the knowledge to achieve their dreams without some external help.

I believe we create the lives we live, and when we want something really bad, people manifest to help us along the way.  They’re our resources, the support we need to make our dreams become our realities.  I would never have met

Dr. Russo

Dr. Russo if it were not for my professor.  He saw something in the work that I was doing, which inspired him to introduce her to me, and I will never forget his intervention.

If you are a doctoral student, you must to engage someone like Dr. Russo to help you clarify your problem statement, define who will benefit from your research, and why.  Develop your research question or questions, and identify a research methodology that can strategically help you prove or disprove your research question (s) and establish cause and effect.

For more information on how to reach Dr. Russo, call me at 773-899-8237 or email me at wanda6402@gmail.com.  Don’t waste your time trying to meet objectives without some professional guidance. She can help; let her assist you so you can to achieve your educational goal.
