Career criminal Okee Wade, 37, has been incarcerated since Dec. 19. Before that, he left his son with an transgender woman who allegedly tortured the boy.

The jailbird father of 4-year-old Myls Dobson — who died Jan. 8 after weeks of abuse from a caregiver — will be set free to attend his son’s funeral, a New Jersey judge ruled Thursday.Okee Wade, 37, has been incarcerated since Dec. 19, when he was arrested for failing to appear in court on charges related to his role in a massive bank fraud scheme.RELATED: BODY OF 3-YEAR-OLD MYLS DOBSON CLAIMED FROM MORGUE

He’ll be released on his own recognizance, possibly as early as this afternoon, the judge said.

“I’m letting you out to go give your son a proper burial,” Judge Michael A. Donio said in criminal court Thursday.

Wade, who has a long list of prior arrests for robbery and other crimes, was ordered to surrender himself to the county jail by 4 p.m. Feb. 6.

The career criminal had made an emotional plea for release earlier in the week to claim Myls’ body — which had lain in the city morgue since his death.

Myls’ body was finally retrieved late Wednesday night by a Brooklyn funeral home after the boy’s biological mother signed papers authorizing the transfer.

The boy’s funeral is slated for next week — the date has not been decided — and will be at Harlem’s First Corinthian Baptist Church.

Before his Dec. 19 arrest, Wade placed Myls in the care of a transgendered woman named Kryzie King — who family members identified as the dad’s girlfriend.

Investigators believe that King starved and tortured the boy over the three weeks he was in her care, burning him and beating him and once even locking him outside on a balcony in his underwear in sub-20-degree weather.

King was arrested after a lengthy interrogation that followed Myls’ death, and was arraigned last week on charges of first-degree assault and reckless endangerment.

Law enforcement sources said previously she would likely face increased charges in Myls’ death, depending on the medical examiner’s analysis; but at autopsy last week, officials were unable to determine what caused his death.

King initially told cops that the boy was on a counter in the bathroom of her luxe pad and fell into an empty bathtub while she briefly stepped out of the room. The boy was unconscious when she called 911.

King, a transgendered woman born Christopher King, is being housed on Rikers Island in a jail for men. She was indicted Wednesday.

She did not appear in court to be notified of her indictment because of “medical reasons,” a Department of Correction official said.
